Ali from UCL, with corporate experience, started Genoa ES with a few ideas in mind

Grew up in London and graduated from UCL with a 2:1 in French and Philosophy. At 17, Ali worked at Deloitte, interned at UCL’s Neuroscience department the same year, and was promoted after just 3 months at Amazon, becoming the youngest manager in London at 18. Always interested in tech and startups, he had considered launching one before university but lacked the guidance to do so. Before joining Genoa ES, he was planning to pursue a career in finance or strategy consulting but realized his true passion was creating something of his own. He chose the program because he wanted to build a global venture from the start.

Is Genoa ES good enough for a 2:1 London student?

I chose the program for actually a couple of reasons. First of all, I like the global international aspect of it. I did not want to be in one place for about eight months, nine months, sparkably in Masters. I actually like that with several occasions in the US, so we got to see several regions, several subcultures of the US, and the places that we were going were really appealing to me. I just really like that it was two-thirds with mentors and one-thirds with professors. Having that real practical experience back to my academic foundation was something that really appealed to me going into the program.
